Andrew Johnston Cancer To Kona

From Kona To Cancer

Living is Winning from Cancer to Kona

I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing Andrew Johnston. Andrew is a former professional cyclist, a Master in the Art of Living, Graduate of the Check Institute and a Holistic Lifestyle coach as well as a husband a father of a busy five year old.

Andrew is also the author of Holistic Strength Training for Triathlon and the first leukemia survivor to qualify for and finish the Hawaii Ironman World Championships. And if that was not enough, he has also been voted one of the top trainers in America by Men’s Health, not only once but twice!

USA Triathlon says, “Consider this a must-have for any triathlete looking for some insightful perspectives.”

Triathlete Magazine writes, “There are plenty of stories about athletes beating the odds to finish an Ironman, but few are as inspiring as Andrew Johnston’s story, and never before has one been documented so well.”

Motivational and inspirational sports doc featuring former pro-cyclist, Ironman triathlete, triathlon coach, and Leukemia survivor Andrew Johnston. Touching, funny, and revealing interviews with Drew’s cycling and triathlete friends, his training buddies and clients, and his family and friends, give viewers more than the usual glimpse into the world of an elite athlete.

Ironman.com – “Drew Johnston is either a glutton for punishment or a man who simply won’t let anything get in the way of his dreams.”

Competitor SE – “Compelling…and it’s filled with dramatic footage of Johnston’s perseverance, humor and hope.”

Nationally distributed, the film received the Feature Audience Award at Atlanta Film Festival, Best Adventure Sports Film at the Connecticut Film Festival, and scored 4.5 out of 5 at Big Bear Lake International Film Festival.
