Kale Chips

Best Crispy Kale Chips

Even if you are not a fan of kale you will love these simple and easy to make kale chips.  You will be pleasantly surprised.  When I first made them I did not think I would like them either.  Actually I ate the whole bunch in one sitting.  My daughter who eats very few vegetables loves them and asks me to make them for her and her friends. Happy dance for a mom to get her kids to eat veggies. These are so easy and delicious! This will be a staple in your house like it is mine.

Ingredients

1 large head of Kale

1 tbsp. olive oil

1 tsp. Celtic sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  2. Wash kale and pat dry
  3. Remove the leaves from the stems and place in bowl
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over kale and add salt (less is more, too much oil will make them soggy)
  5. Gently coat the leaves using your hands
  6. Spread out on a baking sheet giving room to each piece
  7. Transfer to oven and bake 10 minutes then turn leaves and bake another 5 to 10 minutes until crisp
