Almond Cow Plant Based Milk Maker

Easy & Homemade Almond Milk.

Homemade almond milk in minutes. Hello beauties of health and wellness. Today I am sharing with you my newest kitchen gadget find. Let me tell you how it started. I was doing a Google search for oat milk. Why? Great questions. I wanted to buy oat milk in the store, until I saw the price tag! OMG, you have got to be kidding me. So that is when I stumbled onto Almond Cow, and I am so happy I did.

Doing the Google search led me to Almond Cow. I was so excited I reached out to them to see if I could do a blog post using the Almond Cow Plant Based Milk Maker and share it with you.

Just so you know I only review and share with you the things I personally use and love in my life. Almond Cow did send me the Milk Maker in exchange for my honest review.

Store bought almond milk is OK, but there is nothing better than homemade. I also  have a great recipe for 5 minute almond milk  you will also like.  Also make sure to ready my blog post What’s in your Almond Milk here.

Save a Cow, Milk a Plant.

Here’s why I think it’s so cool:

  • No straining or nut milk bags required
  • Choose your own ingredients
  • Super easy and simple (you just need nuts, water, and whatever add-ins you desire)
  • You can reuse the pulp for another recipe or to compost
  • Quick cleanup
  • Reduces packaging waste (a lot of store-bought milks come in plastic)
  • Saves money! (30-70% vs. store-bought milks)

How To Use Almond Cow Plant Based Milk Maker

Honestly, there are so many different combination of nut, seeds, coconut and oats it will blow your mind. I started slow and used walnuts to make my first batch of nut milk.  It was super simple and delicious.

Walnut Milk Ingredients:

  • 1  Cup walnuts (you can soak them for 4 hours) I did not
  • 1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Pitted Dates
  • Pinch of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Directions

Place walnuts and dates in the filter basket. Attach the filter basket to the top of the Almond Cow and twist to secure. Fill the Almond Cow base to the MIN line (5 cups) with water. Add vanilla and sea salt (optional) to the water, attach the top. Plug in the Almond Cow and press the cow start button! It will run through 3 automatic stages. When the green light stops flashing, your milk is ready! It’s that simple.

Pulp Meal Bowls – What The Heck Is That?

This is another thing I love about the Almond Cow milk maker. You can take the pulp and make a delicious and healthy breakfast with the pulp. No waste.  I added some sliced banana, wild blueberries, and goji berries with a sprinkle of coconut flakes and topped it off with my walnut milk. OMG it was delicious.

What kind of plant based milk would you make at home? Leave me a comment I love hearing from you.
