Cinnamon is a known tonic for the digestive system.  It also has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, possesses cancer-fighting components and helps stabilize blood sugar.  Add it to your daily diet, whenever possible, for your overall health.

Banana Almond Cinnamon Shake

Cinnamon is a known tonic for the digestive system.  It also has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, possesses cancer-fighting components and helps stabilize blood sugar.  Add it to your daily diet, whenever possible, for your overall health.

Ingredients

2 medjool dates, pitted

1 scoop protein powder (optional)

8 oz almond milk plain or vanilla unsweetened

4 oz filtered water

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

2 tbsp. raw almond butter

1 banana (frozen is my favorite)

4 ice cubes (if using fresh banana)

Instructions

  1. Place dates and water in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth to create a date paste
  2. Add cinnamon, almond butter, banana, ice and water blend until creamy
