But don’t worry, because you can make your own for pennies, and it is delicious!

Almond milk prepared from almonds is low in fat, but high in energy, proteins and natural fiber. It contains vitamins like calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. The other nutrients available in this milk include vitamins such as vitamin C, B-6, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, folate and vitamin E. All these nutrients have various benefits which are essential for a healthy body.
Drinking just one smoothie a day can have major improvements to your health and wellness. Greens are the most alkaline foods on the planet, and can give your body a jump- start to weight loss, detoxing, clearer skin and so many other wonderful health benefits.
So how do you make this amazing homemade almond milk? It’s so simple you are going to be jumping up and down! This milk will last in the fridge for 3-5 days, but you will use it much quicker than that, especially if you are making any of my Green Smoothies. Enjoy!

Easy Homemade 5 Minute Almond Milk

Ingredients
2 tbsp. of your favorite nut butter
2 c of water
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Pink sea salt or salt of choice
Stevia, honey, dates or sweetener or choice (optional)
Instructions
- Add 2 cups of water to the blender
- Add your nut butter, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and pinch of sea salt
- Add the sweetener of your choice
- Blend!
Notes
To get a super creamy consistancy, add 2 tbsp. of coconut butter!
