Chocolate and Vegan Protein Bites = A Happy Girl!
Hot and healthy chocolate protein bites. These babies are very easy to make and very delicious. I love to make them and keep them on hand for when I have a sweet craving. I don’t feel guilty because I know they are homemade and have natural superfood ingredients in them.
Kick deprivation to the curb. I believe that chocolate should be considered a food group, don’t you agree? What I mean is a healthy natural chocolate. That is why I know you are going to love my Hot and Healthy Snacks.
Raw Cacao Nibs
Cacao Nibs are “nature’s chocolate chips.” Crunchy cacao nibs provide pure chocolate flavor and they’re a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Cacao nibs are a tasty snack right out of the bag or add them to cookies, trail mix, smoothies and ice cream. Today we are using them in protein bites.
Almond Butter
Almond butter is the bomb! I love natural almond butter and am not afraid to use it. So many women are afraid of fat. Almond butter is a healthy fat and, just like any fat you need to eat it in small quantities. Fat is essential to your body, hormones and your overall health. Look for natural almond butter in your health food or grocery store. I love the almond butter from Trader Joes.
