Today we are making a Green Goddess Smoothie with a cucumber!  Yes, I said a cucumber.  Cucumbers are a vegetable I add to my shakes and smoothies all the time.

The secret benefits of cucumbers

  • High in fiber
  • Low in calories
  • Full of vitamins A, B, C
  • Full of minerals like magnesium, potassium and silica
  • They help to fight cancers
  • A great digestion aid
  • Acts a diuretic

Ingredients

1 Scoop Protein Powder

8 oz Water

4 oz almond milk

1 whole peeled & sliced cucumber

1 organic apple

1 piece kale

handful frozen blueberries

Optional Super-Foods

1 tsp. chia seeds

1 tsp. bee pollen

Instructions

Blend all ingredients in your blender and drink up!
