Benefits of Coconut Oil in the Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom

WHY I LOVE COCONUT OIL

The many benefits of coconut oil. I love RAW coconut oil. I keep this coconut oil in my kitchen and in my bathroom and one in the bedroom. That’s right!

What people do not understand is that there are many types of saturated fats and they affect the body differently. The plant source that is found in coconut oil is different from what is found in animal products.

Benefits of Coconut Oil:

    • Assists in weight loss
    • Helps the body to eliminate parasites, fungus and viruses
    • Has been shown to be beneficial for the thyroid
    • Helps to balance hormones
    • Helps to improve digestion
    • Anti Viral Properties
    • Can help to strengthen the immune system
    • Keeps the skin soft and helps prevent premature aging

Spread coconut oil on  your sprouted grain or gluten free toast and use it to cook with. Because coconut oil is mainly a saturated fat, it is stable and the heat of cooking does not create a free radical frenzy.

Coconut oil is liquid at room temperature and will turn to a solid when cold. You can use it in place of any oil and do not need to change a recipe when using it. So go bake some healthy muffins and enjoy.

I use coconut oil on my body as a moisturizer. There are no added chemicals like the toxic lotions and potions you buy in the stores. I love the smell and my skin is super soft.

Careful if you have pets because they love it and will try to lick it off you.  No worries because it is good for them too. Try it as a deep conditioning treatment on the ends of your hair; a little goes a long way.
